Booking sessions for counselling or coaching is straightforward, but before getting started we’ll first need to have a chat about what your needs are. This initial consultation is free of charge.
Booking a session
You can get in touch with me by the following means:
- Email me on: firstname.lastname@example.org. I will get back to you within a maximum of three working days.
- Fill out my contact form with a brief message stating your needs. I will get back to you within a maximum of three working days.
I will then ask you to make some time in your schedule for a brief consultation to discuss your needs. This will only take 10-15 minutes, and you will not be charged for it.
Getting started: Initial consultation
During our initial consultation, I will ask you a number of questions. This will help determine your needs and figure out whether I am the right person to meet those needs. If we agree that we would be well suited to working together, then we will set a date for our first formal session if it is counselling or coaching you’re after. If it’s training you’re after, then after our first consultation I’ll mock up a draft plan tailored to your needs, and we’ll take it from there.
For follow-up bookings, most clients prefer to organise these at the end of each session, or establish a regular ongoing schedule of weekly or fortnightly appointments. Many clients like to book in for the same or similar time each session to suit their schedule. Most clients require an average of six to twelve sessions to meet their needs, but many choose to engage in longer-term work. Some clients only come two or three times, and still others choose to arrange appointments casually. Some attend as and when they feel they would benefit from a sounding board and help planning a strategy to achieve their goals.
